Boss to appeal at loss of Moss

The full-back was given a straight red for an alleged two-footed lunge, though the Town boss begged to differ.

Quinn said: 'I saw the incident first hand and then reflected on it after the game, we've seen the video and for me it was two lads going for a 50/50 ball on a greasy surface'.

Moss was sent off just before the half hour in the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Should the two-match ban be upheld, he would miss the play-off final, if Town make it.

Quinn confirmed: 'We are definitely going to appeal we owe that to Darren because if he does get suspended and we get through to the final then he will miss the final'

Moss was captaining the side at the time and the opposition player suffered no injury. Quinn remains confident of his appeal succeeding, maintaining it was 'never a penalty'.
