Davis considers Shrewsbury future

"My Wolves contract is for two more years. My aim is to play in their first team, hopefully in the Premier League," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"But, if that's not going to happen, Shrewsbury are a great club. I've learnt a lot and I'd happily stay."

Davis has played 17 games during his loan spell, scoring one goal, in the 3-2 win at Northampton in March, after which he had his loan extended to the end of the season.

"Graham Turner, John Trewick and the coaching staff have really helped me in my game and my confidence," said Davis.

"But I've also been in constant touch with the reserve team manager at Wolves and they're really happy with the way I'm playing.

"I'll be trying to get myself into the Wolves side for pre-season games but, if things don't happen there, then I'd certainly be happy to come back to Shrewsbury."
