DON'T DO IT JIMMY!

Jimmy Quinn was left absolutely devastated after Shrewsbury's defeat against local rivals Telford. The defeat means that Town have not won any of the four meetings against the Bucks this season.

Town went down 1-0 last night to a Sam Ricketts goal, and Quinn told the Shropshire Star: 'I've felt some lows in my time but not as low as I'm feeling at the moment. For two reasons we needed to beat Telford: because they're our local rivals and because we needed three points'.

Quinn rolled out the cliches, saying the defeat was 'soul-destroying' and 'gut-wrenching'. This will be of little satisfaction for the 2000 fans who travelled down the M54, who booed the players from the field.

In contrast, Bucks boss Mick Jones described his side's victory as 'one of the highlights of my career.' Well done mate.

The Meadow chief said he believed that Town had the superiority to win the game, but could not make thier dominace pay.
