End of the road for Street

Street has been struggling with a knee injury and misses the tie, otherwise, Town are at full strength. The only exception being Colin Cramb's suspension.

The mood was said to be optimistic in the Shrews camp as they left for Barnet this morning. Boss Jimmy Quinn said:'It's great stuff isn't it? This is what football's all about and everybody's excited now.'

Despite admitting his side were favourites, Quinn refused to underestimate Barnet, 'I've been in football too long to take anything for granted and we've got to earn the right to go through because without a shadow of a doubt, Barnet will fancy their chances,' he said.

Young midfielder Jamie Tolley also spoke of the good mood amongst the players. He said: 'I'm really excited about it, as are all the lads, and we're looking forward to the game. It's been a few days wait and we've all been thinking about it and it's nice to finally be going to play the game.'

As the tie is a two-legged affair, the emphasis will be on not conceding in the away tie, any lead going into Monday's return would be a big boost for Quinn's men.
