Guinan First Deadline Signing

Striker Steve Guinan has signed for Shrewsbury until the end of the season, he was at Plymouth and more recently at Exeter (where he could only play in the reserves because of a transfer imbargo imposed by the FA on Exeter).

Guinan has also played in our reserves once this season against saturdays opponents Lincoln City in that game he scored the winning goal. Kevin Ratcliffe has turned to Guinan after a fruitless search for other Strikers including, Bret Angell, Adam Proudlock and Neil Roberts

Guinan with Nottingham Forest. His career took him to Halifax, Crewe and Cambridge, and last season he played for Plymouth Argyle.

Kevin Ratcliffe has also admitted he is waiting for a answer of Neil Roberts of Wigan Athletic who he contacted earlier in the week.
