Keeper Cartwright - "I WILL SIGN"

In an interview with local paper the Shropshire Star Mark Cartwright has indicated he WILL sign his new contract and remain at the club for one more season.

He said:

"They've made me the offer and I can't see any reason why I'm not going to sign it," said Cartwright.

"Bavo's ended the season so well and I'd expect he's going to start as first choice next season unless he picks up an injury or I have an excellent pre-season. And I'll be going out to do just that."

This along with Ian Woan signing his new 1 year deal is great news for Ratcliffe, who earlier in the week had to release Andy Tretton, Greg Rioch, Steve Guinan and Josh Walker.
