Following on from this the club now need us to start writing letters of support for the scheme. Although you may have previously written letters for the previous applications, these are now INVALID, due to change to the plans.

The same criteria apply as previously. The letter should be written in support of the planning application, and highlight the benefits, i.e. the need for the football club to move to a new stadium due to Gay Meadow being unsuitable for development as a modern football stadium. The community sports facilities (i.e. five a side pitches etc).

To gain some ideas and look at the plans, have a look at the New Meadow section on the Shrewsweb site www.shrewsburytown.com

Please get your letters of support in by Thursday March 28th 2002. They should be sent to;

P.JARRETT,
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES,
OAKLEY MANOR,
BELLE VUE,
SHREWSBURY

YOUR SUPPORT IS GREATLY APPRECAITED.

Thanks
