And despite his brief departure, Peters is thought to have deals in place with several players whose contractes expire at the end of June.
Peters told the Shropshire Star that he was confident that three or four players would complete moves to the Gay Meadow upon his return.
This would mean preparations for the new season could get underway properly on the scheduled 4th July.
Two players mentioned as possible signings were Alex Jeannin and Colin McMenamin, but Peters has named none of his targets for fears of being usurped.
