Not just any old Iron

Town welcome Scunthorpe to the Meadow, with Brian Laws' side pushing for promotion.

And the match has not been short of controversy. Due to the importance of the game, with a Scunthorpe win ensuring promotion, many Iron fans want to travel to the Meadow.

Police have advise Scunny fans not to travel without a ticket, and the matter was confused when Town officials advised home fans to bring utility bills to the turnstile to prove their address.

Fans from both sides have also been warned against invading the pitch. But this seems inevitable, as does fans arriving ticketless.

Shrews fans will also be saying goodbye to Luke Rodgers on Saturday. Rodgers will be in from the start, and youngsters Joe Hart and Dave Edwards look likely to continue. There will be no Mike Sheron after he left the club this week, and Marco Adaggio and Ben Smith should make the bench.

When the sides met earlier in the season, Scunny ran out 3-1 winners, with Jamie Tolley scoring for Town after Dave Walton had been dismissed.
