As reported yesterday, one hopeful will be Fola Onibuje, who is being allowed to play in the match by current club Barnsley.

Joining Onibuje will be defenders Tom Groves, 19, and James Donovan. Groves is a product of the Nottingham Forest youth system and has England youth honours.

21-year-old Donovan is a Millwall youngster who played a handful of games for Farnborough last season.

Also featuring in the game will be relative unknown Michael Gillian and former Poland u-21 player Pawel Wosniak, who has been training with Accrington Stanley.

Boss Gary Peters told ShrewsWeb: "He [Onibuje] is coming in to play the game so we can take a look at him, there will be five trialists in all.

"Barnsley have put Fola Onibuje's name out as they want other people to know that he's playing. You get that a lot this time of the season with club's and agents putting players names around."
