The gaffer was disappointed not to grab all three points after Town's trip to Buckinghamshire ended with a 1-1 draw.

He told ShrewsWeb: 'I'm frustrated that we aren't coming away with all three-points today. In the first half we played particularly well but in the second half we lost our way a little bit'.

Wycombe are flying high in the League Two and given Town's away form, a point is not a bad result.

But Quinn is looking for better things over the coming weeks. He added: 'It's a good point and hopefully it's a platform for us to go on and get three-points against Rushden.'

He continued: 'For me, the next five games are very important because if we can get two or three wins under our belt, we would be in decent shape'.

Quinn's opposite number Tony Adams said of his troops: 'It was frustrating day for us. We didn't play well first half at all and it was the worst performance I've seen us play'.

In other news, Town were drawn away to Southend in the second round of the LDV Trophy. The tie will be played on the 2nd or 3rd of November.
