Sharps back in for Shrews

The centre-back was suspended for Tuesday`s 3-0 home defeat to Bury but has now served his one-match ban and is likely to replace Connor Goldson, who came in to make his full League debut.

Shrews were not as bad as the convincing midweek scoreline suggests and manager Graham Turner is likely to resist from ringing the changes, although he may op to tinker with his line-up.

Forwards Tom Bradshaw (ankle), Nathan Elder and Benjamin van den Broek (both knee) along with defenders Kelvin Lomax (ligament) and David Raven (hip) all got more minutes under their belts for the reserves on Wednesday.

Van den Broek and Lomax both made the bench against Bury and, with each of the quintet at different stages in their respective recoveries, Turner must again decide who is ready to be involved at Sixfields.

Full-back Jermaine Grandison will be assessed after he came off four minutes from time against the Shakers nursing a knock, while midfielder Sean McAllister continues to recover from his hernia operation.
