There were rumours that Quinn had held talks with Gooding, with whom he co-managed Reading in the 1990's.
The Shropshire Star reports that Quinn said the story is a 'complete non-starter'. Quinn admitted that he keeps in touch with the former Wolves man but said he was more than happy with the current set-up.
The rumours come in the wake of reports linking current Assistant Dave Cooke with a return to Northwich. These reports were firmly denied and it looks as though Town will start the new season with the same backroom staff as last season.
