Shrews get Bees in play-off tie

The London side beat already relegated Leigh RMI 2-1 to secure fourth spot and a play-off tie agains Shrewsbury.

Meanwhile, Town were entertaining the crowds at Morecambe, as they played their part in a six goal thriller, the honours being shared.

Goals came from Ryan Lowe, Jake Sedgemore and Jimmy Quinn, who was making a rare appearance up front. Joe Hart continued in goals, showing he had impressed the player-boss who is 24 years his senior.

There was heartbreak for Town's opponents as they missed out on a play-off place.

There is little time to regroup for Quinn's men, as the first leg of the play-off game takes place on Thursday, with the return game the following Monday.

Jimmy was in confident mood about Town's chances in the play-offs. He said: 'We'll have Luke Rodgers and Duane Darby back for the Barnet game, as well a number of our other big players back. Luke's on form so is Duane and I think those two will get us back into the league'.

Shrewsbury beat Barnet at Underhill last month and Quinn believs they could repeat the feat, 'Now we've got Barnet and it's full stream ahead, lets go down there and I think we've got to go and try and win the game', he said.
