Thompson Returns

Former Wolves, Tranmere and Cardiff left back Andy Thompson has re-signed for Shrewsbury Town following a two month loan spell earlier in the season, where he made nine starts and one substitute appearance in the first team.

Thompson, who is expected to recover fully from his ankle injury in the next ten days, has signed a deal which expires after the end of the season. Experienced winger Ian Woan has also signed a new contract which is due to expire shortly after the season ends.
