Town too Crambed for Colin?

The experienced Scotsman has made it clear that he want first team football - something which boss Jimmy Quinn cannot guarantee.

Added to this is the situation whereby Town must offload players to beef-up their squad for the coming season.

The boss told the Shrewsbury Chronicle: 'Colin made it plain to me at the end of last season he might like to get himself fixed up somewhere else, and I’m quite sure there are clubs out there who would like a player of his calibre.'

If Cramb were to leave, it could pave the way for a swoop for David McNiven of Leigh RMI, a player in whom the club have admited an interest. Add to this the acrimonious way in which Cramb left the field against Gravesend and it looks as though he could well be on his way out of the Meadow.
