Shrewsbury assistant manager John Trewick thinks boss Graham Turner can repeat his feat from the 1970s and get them up to the Championship.Turner, who led the Shrews to the old Division Two in 1979, returned to the club this summer after 16 years away.
Trewick told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I really think we can make it to League One and, with a bit of luck too, hold our own in the Championship.
"I always had an inkling that Graham might end up back here."
He added: "He has great determination to succeed at a club he clearly loves."

Turner managed Wolves and Aston Villa before spending a decade at Hereford as boss and chairman.
After Shrewsbury appointed Turner this summer, he quickly brought in Trewick, whom he had appointed and sacked as Hereford manager, as his number two.
"It had been a difficult time at Hereford after we'd been relegated from League One, and he decided, as chairman, that he wanted to take over (team management) again," Trewick said.
"But we always had a good relationship and kept talking after I left."
