Shrewsbury Town winger Benjamin van den Broek has signed a pre-contract deal to join second tier side Den Bosch in his native Netherlands on 1 July.Van den Broek, 23, has struggled with injuries this season making just 11 league appearances, all from the bench.

Shrews manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire: "He hasn't figured for a little while. It's a player's prerogative so he's off to Holland."

Turner has hinted that the Dutchman may have played his last game for Town.

He said: "It is a problem when players are committed to going somewhere else in the near future.

"How much commitment is there to the present club, I've got to judge that."

Van den Broek, who joined Shrewsbury in February 2010, was out of contract in the summer so will join Den Bosch on a free transfer.
