Walsall V Shrewsbury at Bankss Stadium - Match Preview

Saddlers at full strength

Walsall boast a full complement of players for their FA Cup first-round clash at home to Shrewsbury.

Boss Dean Smith has no injury or suspension concerns as the Saddlers aim to bounce back from last weekend's 1-0 defeat at MK Dons.

Forward Milan Lalkovic is the only loan player on Walsall's books and he has been given the green light to play by parent club Chelsea.

Saturday's FA Cup tie is Walsall's first on home soil for five years since they lost 3-1 to Scunthorpe in 2008.

Shrewsbury will be without Joe Jacobson.

The left-back sustained a hamstring injury during last weekend's 2-0 victory over Sheffield United and now faces around three weeks on the sidelines.

Midfielder Nicky Wroe this week extended his loan stay from Preston and has been given clearance to feature at the Banks's Stadium, however manager Graham Turner is in talks with Middlesbrough and Wolves respectively over the availability of Adam Reach and Liam McAlinden.

One player who definitely will not be involved is striker Cristian Lopez after he was recalled by parent club Huddersfield.
