Does one match make a season?

Salops play-off chances took a huge knock in Kidderminster tonight, after Mickey Heathcote scored at the wrong end.

The game was over after 12 minutes when Ian Foster whipped in a low cross which was deflected into the Shrewsbury net by Mickey Heathcote from 6 yards.

We had chances to get back into the game, but once again failure to convert these chances cost Shrewsbury at least a point. Steve Jagielka struck a 30-yard lob just wide, then Ryan Lowe went through 1 on 1 with the 'Kiddy' Kepper Stuart Brock, Brock saved well after Lowe struck the ball towards goal.

Kidderminster also had several second half chacnes to seal the game, but they also failed to convert.

Larkin twice had chances to put Kidderminster further ahead, but was thwarted by two excellent save by Ian Dunbavin.

Dunbavin had to be at his best again to tip over anothe 30 yarder by Drewe Broughton.
