ITV Digital ruin lives of Football Fans

Shrewsbury Town are to increase ticket prices next season because of a loss in television revenue.

They estimate they will be down by a six-figure sum unless ITV Digital honour their contract.

Shrews director Keith Sayfritz said: "We are in a position where we do not need to sell our best assets just because of the shortfall in TV money."

He added: "One thing we will have to do, is to increase the price of tickets for next season, we have no option on this.

"We have not decided on what the increases will be yet, but the increase won't be too steep," he told the official club website SHREWSWEB.
