Quinn said of the display: 'There was a lot of pressure on the lads following the bad result on Saturday, but all credit to them as they've worked hard and got the result.'

Looking ahead to the weekend, Quinn added: 'The result gives us confidence now and we can take that belief with us and go to Bristol looking to keep a clean sheet'.

Meanwhile Quinn has also been busy covering the left-side problem created by Sam Aiston's injury. John McGrath played last night after arriving on loan from Doncaster.

The boss said: 'I've seen John play on a number of occasions and he's a talented lad, he's got good quality on the ball and is left-footed and will hopefully do a good job for us'.

McGrath, a former Ireland u-21 international said: 'If it goes well, if I do well and Jimmy likes the way then I'd have no hesitation making the move a permanent one.'
