Shrewsbury v Notts County

Last updated : 04 April 2010 By BBC Sport

Notts County boss Steve Cotterill will choose from an unchanged squad as the Magpies bid to maintain their stunning run of form since he took charge.

County defender John Thompson completes a two-match suspension for amassing 10 yellow cards this season.

That means Jamie Clapham, recalled to replace Thompson for the 5-0 home win over promotion rivals Bury, Stephen Hunt, Mike Edwards and Graeme Lee will again form the Magpies' back-line.

But Cotterill could opt to make changes elsewhere and Delroy Facey is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score against Bury.

County, unbeaten under Cotterill, have now won seven of their nine matches in his charge, scoring 19 goals and conceding just two.

By contrast, Shrewsbury's only goal during their pointless five-game slump was a deflection in Saturday's defeat at Torquay.

And that has left Paul Simpson's side in 12th place, six points shy of the play-off pack with just seven games left.
